Chamois
Chamois is a small car-free village in the Matterhorn valley, reached by cable car or on foot. Timber and stone houses cluster around Corgnolaz at roughly 1,800 metres above sea level. Meadows, woodland and paths connect the village with nearby hamlets and Lake Lod. Its quiet setting, ski slopes and small mountain airfield give this Alpine destination a distinctive character, away from the traffic on the valley floor.
