Bionaz
Bionaz lies in upper Valpelline, among small villages, pastures and mountains culminating in the Dent d’Hérens. The Place Moulin reservoir is one of its best-known sights, with green water framed by Alpine slopes. Around Dzovennoz and Lexert are forests, a small lake and cross-country skiing trails. Rural houses and old communal ovens reflect the village’s long connection with livestock farming and mountain life.
