Breuil-Cervinia
Breuil-Cervinia sits in a broad basin beneath the Matterhorn, at the upper end of Valtournenche. The mountain’s outline dominates a landscape of pastures, rocky slopes and glaciers. It is one of the Alps’ best-known skiing destinations, with lifts and pistes linking the Aosta Valley side to Zermatt. Cretaz, Plan Maison and Plateau Rosa offer different perspectives on the changing scenery between the village and the high mountains.
