Courmayeur
Courmayeur stands beneath Mont Blanc where Val Veny and Val Ferret meet. Its centre and surrounding villages preserve Alpine houses, small shops and a long tradition of mountain guiding and climbing. Forests, glaciers and immense rock faces form the backdrop. Skyway cable cars reach Punta Helbronner, while the two side valleys offer contrasting views of the massif among meadows, streams and mountain paths.
